About Victor Krvaric
Victor Krvaric is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, former financial services professional, and the founder of Skane Strategies and CivicRecon, based in San Diego, California. He is also a guitarist who plays neoclassical and blues repertoire.
Guitar came first
In fourth grade my mom made a deal with me: if I kept a B average, I could have an electric guitar. She kept her promise, and I have been playing ever since.
Service
I was raised by two immigrants from Sweden. I felt that I owed the United States something, so I enlisted in the Marine Corps at seventeen after feeling called to serve.
I trained and served as an LAV-25A2 gunner and reached the rank of Corporal (E-4). I was honorably discharged in May 2022.
What came next
After the Marine Corps, I worked in financial services and kept building software. That led to consulting, internal tools, and products including Skane Strategies and CivicRecon.
Today I live in San Diego and work across insurance, software, and public-policy research. Guitar is still part of my life.
